Hilary Duff, the actress cum singer was born on September 28, 1987 in Houston, Texas, United States of America. Her full name is Hilary Ann Duff and she is called Hil by closed ones. Her father, Robert Erhard Duff has a chain of convenience stores and mother, Susan Duff is a housewife. Hilary Duff has an elder sister Hailey Duff who is also an actress cum singer. As of education, she was home-schooled since the age of 10. It was mother who encouraged Hilary Duff to pursue acting class along with her sister Hailey Duff. Hilary Duff joined Cecchetti ballet classes. When she became six, she performed for the first time that too with her sister Hailey who was then eight, in the Nutcracker with the Columbus BalletMet.
